Draw a true-to-scale plan on your tablet with the customer right next to you, and send the quote while the customer is still interested.

- No CAD degree needed. Trace over the plot plan with easy to learn tools.
- Calculate material quantities from your scaled drawing.
- Draw the plan offline for free, right in the customer’s backyard. Only pay when you’re ready to close.
The problem
What you draw is what the customer gets.
You walk the yard, sketch it, and measure what you can. Then you drive away without a commitment, build the quote back at the desk, and send it later. The homeowner was excited in the yard. By the time the quote lands, the moment has passed.
With Lawnch, the customer sees exactly what the finished yard will look like. Draw it on your tablet with the customer next to you:
- The customer sees the plan, to scale, on screen.
- The customer tells you what to adjust, and you change it on the spot.
- You both see how the change affects the quote.
Surprises are great for birthdays, not install day.
The customer pictured one thing and you heard another. It all comes to light on install day, when the homeowner isn’t happy and you have to buy more plants out of your own pocket. Now you’re in the red.
No surprises for you or for the customer means a margin you can count on.
- A plan the customer has already seen is a plan you both agree on.
- Fewer surprises means fewer plants bought out of your own pocket.
- A quote built from measured areas, not a guess. Pad a guess and you risk the job, trim it and you risk your margin.
- No retyping measurements into a quote at night.
Lawnch gets the plan and the numbers done while the customer is still standing next to you, so you both agree on the same picture.
How it works
Four steps from plot plan to quote.
Open the plot plan.
Pick the homeowner’s PDF, JPG or PNG on your tablet. It fills the screen and stays sharp when you zoom.
Outline it and set the scale.
Trace the plot boundary, then tap one edge and type its printed length. Lawnch does the rest, and corrects plans that are stretched.
Draw the plan.
Add surfaces, plants and edging, and Lawnch calculates areas, lengths and counts automatically. One finger draws, two fingers move.
Check areas and send the quote.
See square feet for every surface, then share the plan and quote from the same screen.

Quote before you leave the driveway.
Quote before you leave.
Draw with the homeowner watching. The customer sees their yard, and you see the numbers.
True-to-size plans.
Your scale comes from a length printed on the plot plan, so lengths read in feet and inches and areas in square feet. Check any edge against the printed dimensions.
Works where you work.
Offline on your tablet, in the yard, with no signal.
Areas from the drawing.
Lawnch counts the visible square feet of each surface, with the house and anything on top cut out. Material quantities, such as cubic yards of mulch and rock, are coming soon.
Plain controls.
Large buttons, plain words like plot boundary, edge and corner, and snapping that shows you what it snapped to.
Sample plan

| Mulch | 380 sq ft | 3 in | 4 cu yd |
| River rock | 150 sq ft | 4 in | 2 cu yd |
Illustrative numbers, not output from the app. Order quantities with depths are coming soon.

FAQ
Questions installers ask
Is it accurate?
Your scale comes from a length printed on the plot plan, and every other edge is a cross-check. Tap any edge to compare its length to the printed one.
Do I need CAD skills?
No. You trace over the plot plan by tapping corners, with snapping and squaring tools to help.
What if I have no signal?
Drawing works offline after your first sign-in. Sharing needs a connection.
What file can I start from?
A PDF, JPG or PNG of the plot plan. iPhone HEIC photos aren’t supported yet.
What counts as one plan?
One plot plan for one address. Edit and re-send it as often as you like.
Can I swap in a different plot plan?
Not after you’ve paid for the plan. Start a new plan for a new address.
Do I pay to draw?
No. Drawing and seeing your areas are free. You pay when you share or export.
Does it work on a phone?
Lawnch is built for tablets. Phone support is limited to notes for now.
What happens to my plans?
They are saved to your account and sync when you are back online.
